A reflection on PAE's capabilities is demonstrated in the utilities area - being able to supply a wide range of specialist services shows the depth of skills and experience that we have. PAE has key management, specialists and tradespeople with skills and knowledge in the provision of network services. These specialists and tradespeople are supported by MWH New Zealand Ltd. MWH is New Zealand's leading consulting and environmental consulting engineering company.

Compliance, Health & Safety requirements, upskilling and continual training to keep abreast with technology advancements are all key components that PAE recognises as essential to our providing high levels of service for our clients.

The ability to provide quality and uninterrupted network services is a key requisite for the client and we have sound performance in this area for a diverse range of operations. These include:

• Water Treatment and Reticulation PAE has many staff involved in water treatment and water reticulation operations. We carry out these functions on defence bases and industrial sites.
  
  
• Wastewater and Stormwater Managing wastewater and stormwater systems is another area that PAE is experienced in. Providing these services to a diverse range of clients makes us able to adapt and be prepared for all situations, including emergencies.
  
  
• Sewerage System Maintenance and Sewage Treatment PAE has wide experience in the management of sewerage systems. Maintaining sewer network systems and monitoring oxidation ponds are carried out at a number of locations.
  
  
• Waste Management PAE's diversity of facilities maintenance contracts has provided the company with a considerable range of waste management experience. We are experienced at managing all types of waste generally encountered at contract sites - including green waste, hazardous waste, recyclables, and scrap metal.
  
  
• Boilerhouse Operations and Energy Management Providing heating and hot water for our clients in an efficient, effective, and safe manner are an important part of PAE's operations at a number of locations. Providing efficiencies that help the client reduce energy costs is an area that we target.
  
  
• Electrical Reticulation PAE employs many electricians as part of its Facilities Management operations. Skillsets include both LV and HV systems management. A key focus for PAE is to work with our clients to come up with ways to reduce costs.
