PAE provides support to Methanex NZ Ltd. This involves a broad range of Facilities Management services for the company’s sites in New Plymouth. PAE’s services include security, cleaning and laundry, grounds maintenance, rodent control and waste management.

Fonterra, Whareroa and Eltham Sites, Taranaki

PAE provides Facilities Management services for a number of Fonterra sites in Taranaki including:

Whareroa - which is the largest single dairy site in the world, employing approximately 1,000 people, where plant availability is a critical factor. The Whareroa site produces enough Mozzarella cheese every year for 2.1 million pizzas. The site has the largest milk processing capacity of any diary manufacturing plant in New Zealand. The site's 5 dryers convert milk into instant whole, skim and butter milk powders. Whareroa's 2 cheese plants supply supermarkets and food outlets with specialty cheeses such as Gouda and Mozzarella. The site is also home to New Zealand's largest butter plant, which churns enough butter each week to fill nearly 3 rugby fields with its 500g blocks.

Eltham - which comprises two separate sites that produce cheese packaged for consumers around the world, including the fast food chains Pizza Hutt, Domino’s Pizzas and McDonald’s Family Restaurants. Eltham is also home to specialty cheeses such as blue vein, camembert and brie for local and international markets.

These services are provided under a fully comprehensive contract that includes buildings, fire protection, lighting, air conditioning, site roadways, paths, underground services, sewerage and pumping systems, wastewater and the marine outfall systems, the cool stores and their refrigeration plants, building WOF inspections, site wide cleaning, waste management, drinking water and lift and hoist maintenance.

Under a separate contract, PAE also provides specialist cleaning services at Whareroa and Eltham that are required to meet food production standards.

PAE provides cleaning and security services at Tangiwai Pulp Mill and security services at Tangiwai Saw Mill and the adjacent housing area.
